Eric has lived in the Madison area since fourth grade, attending school in Verona. He explored several job possibilities after graduating, working as a bartender, a restaurant manager, and even in sales. It wasn't until Eric started doing home building that he found something he enjoyed. Eric has been a foreman on a new home construction crew, and worked on large projects for schools and universities in the area, but he thrives on the challenges of remodeling. Eric joined Housewrights in 2001, and is a lead framing carpenter who recently was named a Certified Lead Carpenter. He lives in Edgerton with his wife Debra and 3 sons Jake, Ryan, and Nathan, and their two dogs, Lexi and Kyra.

Boyd was playing soccer in college when he was sidelined with a broken foot. He took some time off, started a construction company with his father, and never looked back. Since he had held related jobs even before college, at a lumber yard and a rebar manufacturing plant, his construction career made sense. He built new homes and did remodeling in Spring Green for six years before joining Associated Housewrights in January of 2004. Boyd has earned the designation of Certified Lead Carpenter. He is an avid outdoorsman, who relishes hunting and fishing. He resides in Middleton with his wife, Dana.

Tim serves as a site manager for Associated Housewrights and is a NARI Certified Lead Carpenter. He started working in construction as a summer job when he was 16, and carpentry is the only job he’s ever held. He has worked in Madison as a carpenter since 2001. Tim lives with his wife and child in Lake Mills, where he works on his own home in his spare time, doing landscaping and cabinet-making. Tim also enjoys golfing.
